Thoughts On Art Education | Tara Barnett
“All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” – Pablo Picasso
Engaging young kids with art an early age in crucial to their development. Not only does it aid in creative thinking, but it is also important for building cultural awareness, confidence and collaboration skills. As an art educator, I have made it my mission to inspire our youth to all be artists at heart and carry with them their creative faculties throughout their lives and careers.
I will be dedicating this column to exploring ways in which we can effectively engage children with the visual arts to help them achieve their full potential.
